We were so excited to go and experience this unusual place for dining. Unusual it was. The only nice thing, was the singer singing \"Sinatra\" songs.\" This restaurant was dark,(they have tiny LED lights to view menu which are difficult to use if you have arthritis in your hands), unfriendly, terrible service, horrible food and were very DECEPTIVE with their bills. This was by far the worst eating experience of our lives. Caution to anyone who does not know the owners! The food was so bad I couldn't eat it. Who ever heard of Pasta Fagiola with crushed spaghetti, no beans and jarred garlic? The eggplant rolatini tasted like old cheese with jarred garlic overkill. I just couldn't eat it. The chicken picata was bland like lemon was squeezed on it. The mushroom risotto was hard and undercooked. My husband couldn't eat his eggplant either! No one enjoyed the food or the atmosphere. Then came the bill. LOCALS BEWARE! Sundays is pasta 2 for 1 (up to $20.00 only). If you don't tell them you're a local, you will be overcharged. Then there's the issue of the bill. It is a light carbon that is not ledgible! There were 2 prices on the bill (hand written). They charged us extra because they said they didn't know we were locals. Well, I let that go. I got back my adjusted bill and credit card back which had a transaction on it. Again it had 2 prices. $130. and $165. I questioned the waiter again! He said they included gratuity. Well, the \"gratuity box\" was blank and he wrote \"Grat\" over a preprinted \"Thankyou\" on the bill which was not ledgible. Also, it seemed to all of us that they charged OVER 20% for a TIP! People who don't know are going to be in for a rude surprise....Double tipping! We would never go back to Capo's again. My only mistake was complaining after the meal and paying for that horrible experience. All I got was an apology! Not a compensation by a long shot! And by the way, my bill originally started at $226. and went down to $130. which was still too much for the quality and service received. Does anyone see a problem with a $96. difference? That's after having the waiter review with us 3 times as to what we were being charged for! I could not in good faith recommend this restaurant! If you're used to good Italian restaurants or Italian home cooking, you will hate this food! There was nothing authentic about it! This restaurant was way overpriced..."^^ . .
