"All the one star reviews YELP look pretty accurate to me and I'm highly suspicious of the 5 star ratings - I'm just disregarding them as shill reviews. Fortunately, I didn't get scammed by these guys because I left before they got a chance. Newport posted on Craigslist a specific make, model, year and mileage I was looking for. I texted them (waste of time) to see if the car was still available. Of course, they said it was and we agreed on a time to meet that evening to look at the car. In retrospect, it's clear to me that the vehicle was long since sold. Obviously, the ruse is to get you on the lot to talk you into buying something else. So, when I get there to ask for the salesman I talked to about that specific car, they run around like they have to look for it and finally come back to tell me it's been sold (what a surprise). The salesman looked at me shocked when I told him thanks and goodbye. He couldn't understand that I wasn't interested in anything else they had on the lot. The thing that pisses me off is that i wasted my valuable time fighting rush hour traffic to drive down to that lot for nothing. Folks, there are enough car lots and dealerships in this town to choose from that you don't need to waste your time at Newport. The chances you'll be scammed are quite high. Good Luck."^^ . "0"^^ .
