Customer service is garbage! Starting from the lady at the front desk, to the doctor and random roaming staff; people act like they hate their jobs. Dr. Drake J Rothstein has poor bedside manner. He speeds through an introduction without taking a breath to let you respond and make the conversation genuine. Dr. Rothstein refrains from making eye contact. Dr. Rothstein asks you what the problem is and responds to everything you say with, "I don't think that's the problem". His behavior makes you feel like he thinks he knows your body better than you do. Dr. Rothstein left the curtain to my bed open and avoided eye contact every time he walked by instead of providing privacy and closing the blinds. Dr. Rothstein literally told me that if my throat swells to the point where I can't swallow or breathe to come back to the ER or make an appointment with my PCM. Lol, makes me wonder long I can hold my breath! Before leaving the ER, two staff watched as I tried several doors to leave but offered no help. However, there were was no one else around besides me and the two techs. It's like no one wants to be of service and you would think this is the place where being of service should be imbedded in every employee. Here is the deal, the customer service is terrible when people refuse to make eye contact, smile or have a regular conversation. Ray Charles can see this sorry excuse for customer service a mile away and I hope someone in your leadership sets a better example for this team to follow.
