Worst Hampton Inn we have ever stayed. Checked into the hotel and found room carpet is very damp (slippers sticking to carpet), call front desk lady, she comes in and checks, told us that someone forgot to tell front desk that they cleaned this room and the carpet is still wet (didn't apologize or offer any room change). After an hour I went to front desk (by now night clerk is on duty) to ask for a room change because of damp smell in room. He straight away tells that the lady told him that we were lying!! Then this guy walks away from the front desk! I asked for room change and he goes "we are sold out you can go somewhere else if you want" Then he started moving chairs in lobby and told me that he is busy right now to talk, Plain and simple! No apology/sense of acknowledgment! I called up Hilton and informed about this notorious guy right away. Stay away from this property as the building is renovated but old (too much squeaky /noisy) they use loads of FABREEZE to cover the damp smell in the rooms and the staff is very rude. VERY POOR MANAGEMENT
