I had my bridesmaid gown altered here.
I purchased the Yelp coupon which definitely helped. Since to shorten and take in was about $115.
The lady who altered my dress was not particularly friendly.
She pinned everything well but when I came to pick up the dress the top was still looser than it was supposed to be and so she insisted I should buy a bigger bra-which trust me they don't make- and then asked if I wanted to pay to have additional padding added. I was a bit insulted, I can't change my natural frame - that is why people pay to have garments adjusted to fit them. She had also forgotten to add in the bra keeper which we had discussed and I had paid for however once she was reminded she was able to add it quickly.
Overall they did shorten the dress well and take it in enough that it won't fall off but I would not go back.
