We had a really great 11 mile ride in the desert, over Labor day weekend. Our guide, Byron, picked us up and took us to the shop. We got geared up there and were off. Byron was really accommodating, as 2 of the riders (there were 3 of use) are beginners. For example, 1 of my friends would get off and walk down most hills. He was the only one who didn't fall off his bike, though, so maybe he's onto something. Byron had the beginner guys go a different route and one point, and he and I went higher up and then down a fun curvy run called "viagra" (shouldn't a trail named viagra be going uphill?). I did manage to endo on that run and I was laying in the dirt, Byron exclaims "doggone-it" and "aw-shucks". That was awesome. Overall, it was a great ride, affordable and the staff were very nice.
