Beware! We hired ACE for a AC tune-up for $19.95 per unit June 9th....they seemed to have it together. Calling the day before to confirm then sending an email reminder with a bio on the service tech (Shane) that was coming out. Nice guy...but as all the other Yelpers stated ACE tries to seriously sale you. They stated that we needed more freon and at $200 a lb up to 5 lbs, that could run us $1000. They recommended that we should spend the $ on a new AC unit instead. We said we were not ready to purchase a new unit at this time....but to send us a quote. Wouldn't you know it.... 2 days later one of our units stopped working- really, coincidental???? Now, 9 days later the 2nd unit goes out!@!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS, both of them in less than 2 weeks??? Is this company REALLY coming out and instead of giving a tune-up they screw with the system so you HAVE to buy a new one??
