Went to the Rod Stewart concert last night...we had an hour and a half til opening act at 730 as we hit the Steels Corners entrance ramp..and the wait began...ugh...the traffic situation is horrific! Needless to say we did not make the opening act and didn't get seated til after 8!! Almost 2 hrs in traffic and to walk in from the parking lot..it's all a disaster and they have to fix it...the lawn was packed so we sat way left and you can't see the screens that are underneath the pavilion. Would be nicer outside on the sides of the pavilion so the lawn could see the show as well..I have seen that at other outdoor venues.. the acoustics are really good..was clear and loud..so the show itself was awesome! Bring money if you want anything to eat or drink...very pricey $$$...one draft beer was $14!!! And make sure you leave a bit early or you might as well bring a tent and stay...leaving is worse than getting in!
