As far as first impressions go, Bulk Barn is right on par with nearby College subway station: The floors look nasty and after seeing a diversity of flies (big, small and fruit) in the dried fruit section I was completely turned off! And I don't mean flying around the bins in the air (although there was definitely some of that) but I'm talking trapped inside the bins WITH the food...eating, pooping, fornicating and doing whatever else flies do when they get together...yikes! It took me about 30 seconds of walking around to notice this, maybe their manager needs an eye exam? And isn't it about time Bulk Barn invested in technology to avoid people dipping there disease infested hands into the bins? I don't find prices that good either & have had some bad experience with freshness of their nuts! I'll stick with Costco / Kirkland brand any day!
