Poop was thrown at me! This hotel needs more security cameras, especially in its hallways and parking lots.
At the result of my slight paranoia, when I first arrived to this extended-stay (in Las Vegas!) I search for security cameras in the hallways. To my surprise there are none. Not near the door to my room or even in the hallway intersections. With that said I'm very cautious to make sure my room door closes completely before I walk away from it. So the other day as I'm impatiently waiting for it shut when there comes a man running by me to his room. He quickly runs in, grabs a towel and runs out. I'm nonchalantly walking to the exit of the building on my phone tweeting, updating my status', checking the stock market, you know, anything that would allow me walk at very slow pace; meanwhile the aforementioned running man is now impatiently walking behind me and rushing my slow stride.
I write all this to say I should've let him pass me, and here's why:
As I exit the building and walk around the rear of the car parked in the first spot I can't help but notice a woman fling something and coincidentally in my direction. I hear it splash -and I was going to casually ignore her and mind my own business but when I felt a droplet hit my leg my head snapped to look at her. That's when I noticed it was POOP! She slung her poop in my direction AND IT SPLASHED ON ME! The rushed man gives her a towel, she wraps it around her body and leans over to wipe the poop from her legs. While she's leaning over MORE SHIT CONTINUES TO FALL FROM HER ASS!
By this point I'm in utter shock and apparently blacked out because next thing I remember is I'm sitting in my car recording her on Snapchat. The man is scooping feces out of his car, she's still uselessly trying to clean her legs, I'm frantically captioning and posting the video in my story... Then I look back up and BAM! They're gone! Id like to say "they were gone without a trace" but they left behind an obscene amount of turds and a filthy shit-soaked towel.
***Side note: Also to my surprise, no cameras in the parking lot either.
I give 4 stars because the rooms are decently spacious and have kitchenettes with full-size refrigerators.
