I made an appointment the day before for gel mani and spa pedi. They take walk-ins (supposedly) but I wanted to be sure I'd be serviced promptly. When I made the appt. for 10:00 I mentioned that I had a commitment at 12:30. I was assured that would be fine. (My 12:30 commitment was only 10 min away). I arrived promptly and after selecting colors, was shown to a foot bath to begin soaking for the pedi. FIFTY MINUTES later a nail tech finally came to me. I told him that I no longer had time for both services. No apology, just "we are short staffed today." I commented that no one told me that when I arrived. No comment, no apology. Although I've patronized Broadmoor many times before, I won't return. This isn't the only game in town - and I expect better service, better communication. If I'd been told when I arrived that I'd be waiting nearly an hour, I probably would have opted for the gel mani if I knew there would be time for only one service. But after soaking for 50 minutes, I no longer had that option. Too bad.
