Ok, ok, i'll stop.... for those who visit vegas often will understand if you haven't been to vegas or downtown vegas well you are in for a joy ride.
This area is the block party central where it's cheap and you have the main hotels all in walking distance from each other... eat, drink, gamble, heck strip if you want... you'll see anything here but remember "what happens in vegas, stays in vegas" *wink wink unless your friends caught it on camera and posted it to social media than you're done for. hahah kidding, not really.
I usually avoid downtown but when you want to gamble late night and you're lowballing, this is the place. Downtown vegas is known for the wide screen up top where they have cool stuff display. If you feel adventurous, you can do the high seat gliding (i forgot the real name)... There's also live bands.... deep fried twinkies, deep fried oreos... deep fried i repeat deep fried!!
Ok ok.... this is a must come if you're first time visiting vegas.
As for me, not my kinda scene.. I'm not a big fan of crowds and it's kinda dirty.
