Awkward but okay. 61c is a cafe with an identity crisis. The seating, a blue grid of cramped narrow paths is awful and totally fills the space, I mean, seriously, get a couch or maybe a table with more than two seats. Just weird. I feel like getting to my seat is a game of pac-man. Given 61c's utilitarian, classroom, look, I assumed that the angle was that it was a no-nonsense wifi type cafe, but really, if there are no outlets, where do i plug my computer in? It seems like there were once outlets but maybe they have been passively aggressively covered with blank wall plates? I don't get it. The coffee and other pastries are acceptable and slightly above average, but seriously, do something about the awkward room.
