We stay at Residence Inn hotels all over. Usually, they are outstanding. Not just because they accept pets, but because they are up to Marriott standards. In this case however, this particular hotel was not what we expected. 1. It either does not have the king 1 bedroom suite or the receptionist lied to us. In either case, this room configuration is one of the main reasons we choose Marriott over Embassy Suites so we won't return to this location. 2. The carpet in the room was dirty, old, and just plain nasty. 3. The pillows were flat and the bed was uncomfortable. 4. The young ladies working reception were pleasant and helpful, the gentleman was rude and dismissive. In general, this site was not as nice as the other Residence Inn hotels. It needs to be updated very badly.
