The Tempe Library is a great place to spend an afternoon. As a relatively new resident of Tempe, places like this make me happy to be a part of this community. The facilities are expansive and look great... they have ample space to spread out and read a book or do some research. The check out system is quick and painless, and the book drop makes it easy to return on time (overdue fees: $0.25 per day, so renew online). I love the little touches that always make me stay longer like the cafe and used book sale area. Culture pass is pretty cool and I hope to use one soon... the ones I want are usually checked out, but I'll get them one day! Will be back soon.
