I visit Madison's once a week on my way to work, but I've noticed a few weaknesses lately. However first, I would like to note that the staff are friendly, the location is clean, and I really enjoy the coffee. I've tried many of their drink options. As other reviewers have noted, it has a very distinct taste which I've grown to enjoy. They serve Climb's Roast which is an awesome local non profit. In regards to areas of improvement, their service is slow slow slow. I have to allow at least 10-15 minutes in the morning to receive my order. Their drive thru is convenient, but I've found that if another car is already there, it *usually* is faster to go inside. Their prices are also very high in comparison to their competitors when ordering specialty drinks. A large cafe au lait or a large latte will end up costing around $5 or more depending on the milk choice. It's a small local place that I enjoy supporting, and I will continue to do so with hopes that some of these areas will experience growth.
