Everyone has their own opinion based on their experience but while giving a review to another company, I noticed that Active Renter had 3 reviews that do not reflect my experience with them. I rented a nice house from them for two years and I had no issues with the way that they run their business.
I liked the fact that I had the lease agreement in my power really quick so I was able to read it completely and decide whether or not I wanted to rent from them. The lease is 9 pages long but the tenant handbook while a little long was very detailed and specific so I was able to see what was required of me as a tenant and what I was getting into. I liked that I met with their representative at the house and he was able to go over the most important areas of the lease.
The tenant portal was a great tool for me, I'm always on the go so I selected the automatic withdrawal from my checking account to pay the rent. Also, using the portal I could see my monthly invoice, was able to place any service requests and was able to communicate with my property manager if needed.
At the end of the lease agreement I gave my notice, cleaned the house, professionally cleaned the carpets and my security deposit was in my mailbox 2 weeks after I moved out. I highly recommend them and if I were to need a rental home again I will not run away from them!!!!!!
