After a wedding and a quick drink at another bar, my friend and I headed to FilmBar to meet another Yelper. I really liked the atmosphere at FilmBar. It was super artsy (full frontal nude paintings by the bathroom did sort of shock me, but in a good way) and very laid back. The bar was small, but they did have additional seating which seemed ample for the crowd that was there on Saturday night. They serve beer and wine, which is good enough for me. I had a Deschutes Chainbreaker White IPA and it was served cold. A 22 oz beer for $6.75 is a good deal. The bartenders were no-nonsense there. The patrons were overall very "hipster." I am pretty sure I didn't fit in, but I was enjoying my company so much that I didn't notice. I would love to check out a movie here sometime. My friend wasn't in the mood for a movie on Saturday, but I'll drag someone else next time who will happily oblige satisfying my curiosity!
