I had a great first appointment with Sheila Tack. She was really nice and very helpful and was able to answer any questions I had about IUDs and other forms of birth control. The appointment ran on time and wasn't rushed at all. That was in January. Fast forward to April, I get a positive (albeit faint, but still positive) pregnancy test. 3 of them. My IUD obviously never got approved by insurance... I call the office to schedule an appointment and they couldn't take me until next week, understandable. The morning of my appointment, I arrive 20, 15 minutes early. Fill out the paperwork, and wait. Almost an hour of waiting, my appointment was 35 minutes behind before I go up to the receptionist and ask her what's taking so long. She waited until I asked her to tell me the doctor was running behind. I couldn't wait, I wasted my time and had to reschedule. Finally get in and my test came out negative. The doctor came in immediately talking about birth control completely disregarding the test results until I asked her. I went to get my blood test as well because if my HPTs came out positive just one week ago.... I wanted to know what went wrong, the woman taking my blood seemed incredibly irritated and based off of that fact alone, that 5 minutes being in her office was uncomfortable. Still haven't gotten any word on my blood test, either. It's been over a week. Sheila Tack is amazing, but I'll be searching for a new doctor.
