Wow. I took my vacuum here with little hope for it. It had been fixed before by a guy at a sewing shop that doesn't exist anymore. He took nearly a month to fix it, never contacted me when it was done (I had to keep checking), and it still didn't work so well afterward. Thankfully, that was a cheap "fix". This time I took it to Tommy Tucker which I found near my East side neighborhood on a google search. They did a tune up for their base price $45. Didn't find anything wrong with it, just gave it the complete tune up and called to say they were finished with it just two days later. I brought it home and it's working as well as when it was new. I was afraid I would have to pick up an expensive vacuum in order to pick up dog hair in our house, but it cleaned everything off of the rugs, no problem. They were about 4x the price of the first guy, but for a real fix and a good working vacuum, it's well worth the price. Go get a vacuum tune up if yours isn't working that well lately. Very happy with this.
