This was the first hotel I ever stayed at outside of the United States. It looked pretty small from the outside but when I walked into my room, I was pretty impressed by the size and look. This hotel was in a pretty good location. About 30 minutes from downtown Toronto and about an hour from Niagra. Service here was great. Staff seemed friendly and helped me out anytime I needed it. Everything was clean when we arrived and housekeeping did a pretty good job when I came back to my room after they've cleaned it up. The fitness center here is pretty good except for the fact it's sort of in a (usually) empty basement which can be a little creepy... I only have three minor complaints about this hotel. 1. In my room, the shower's temperature was completely off. A normal warm temperature was burning. AT LEAST 110°F (43.3°C). I don't even want to know how hot the hottest setting was. Could probably give you third-degree burns. The coldest setting you could go was a normal warm to hot shower temperature. Super weird. So you can bet on that first night when I showered, I almost suffered burns. 2. For the five days I stayed here, the breakfast was really repetitive. I saw the same 5 items for the whole five days. Omelets (I think everyday this was on the breakfast menu), ham cubes, tortillas, breakfast potatoes, and bacon. 3. At least in my room, there were no outlets near the bed except one behind the bed which was super difficult to get any charger into unless the charger was some sort of super-mini one. I know this might of sounded like a 3-star review but the service, look and space of the room and the cleanliness made up for it. Would stay here again!
