I went in to Q8 and asked how much it would be for a shellac manicure; the lady told me it would be $25 so I agreed. After my nails were done I went to pay and the lady told me it would be $35 and $39 after tax. I asked why it was so much more and that they had told me it would be $25. I was told that the shellac was $25 and the manicure was $10. I paid the $39 and thanked them.
On Saturday morning I noticed that my nail was broken and several other nails had shellac peeling. I wasn't able to go back to get them fixed as I was out of town but went back on Monday morning. I went back and asked for a refund so that I could go somewhere else but they said they would only give me the $25 back for the shellac but nothing for the manicure. The lady said she would redo it for me though, so I agreed. She redid my nails and as of right now, Tuesday afternoon, I am happy and my nails look great.
The ladies in the salon were all very friendly and nice but I'm not sure that I will go back. I don't usually have enough time to go and get my nails done once let alone having to go back for repair.
