I couldn't agree more, but when I visited town to hit Gail's and try out this "new place" so highly recommended by friends, well... I was impressed. The service was outstanding. My guide uncannily led me through the lengthy flavorful journey that each truffle had tucked away in its unique shape, and graciously propped my loaded box up on a stand so I could take a picture of the case. ...I ended up leaving with a box of 8, far more than I'd budgeted for, but worth every penny.
I also took with me a bag of Mayan drinking chocolate. If I don't get one of these for Christmas, it'll be the first thing I special order on December 26th.
