I had no issue with them before an incident where I accidentally damaged another units door. I called immediately to let them know that I was out near the unit and that they should send somebody out . The part time person that was staffing the desk had no sense of urgency and in her words "I will let the manager know . " After 30 minutes and nobody came out I left the facility because I was reporting to a hospital in 2 hours to have surgery. Over the next 10 days I played phone tag with Renata the general manager and in one instance she called me on a Tuesday and told me to call her the next day. When I called the next day she is off work-ridiculous! Prior to that I had left messages with the subsitute staff (the same person as before ) and didn't feel like she was actually taking the messages at all , nor relaying my calls/messages to Renata. You know when you get a CSR and you can just tell by their demeanor they are just going through the motions and just a body in a seat? Yep, this lady fits that perfectly. Power hungry Renata hires sheep. No joke. The staff is less than helpful and not customer service oriented in the least. It never affected me prior to this though I noticed it. I took full responsibility for the damage and I went to pay via phone with my credit card and was told they would only accept cash or money order. That is a little bit ridiculous since they readily take my credit card for my rental . Worse than that I'm still in Tucson trying to recover and they won't accept my credit card nor my debit card to take care of the damage so my brother can access the storage unit and bring me my medical equipment. I should have done with the guy across the way said to me when he saw me damage the door andcssid don't tell them. I go and do the right thing and tell them that I damage the door and I get treated like a effing criminal. Though the facility is nice with the access, the alarm etc unfortunately the unprofessional and unfriendly staff negate the great qualities of this facility and I highly recommend that you seek a different location for your storage needs!
