I got the iced almond milk latte with carmel and white chocolate flavoring. It was pretty delicious. It is hard to find a decent almond milk latte, and though it wasn't the best it was well worth the trip. The coffee was nice and strong and stood out in the drink, which I love. The flavoring wasn't too over powering. And I am guilty of being one of those people who love a sweet drink, though, I am trying to cut more sugar out of my life so maybe it was a good thing to not have it so sweet, and so with that I tasted the almond milk flavoring more than I would like. But since I am cutting out diary and sugar I better get used to it, and the drink I got at Volstead is something I could enjoy.
In addition, it was empty when we got there at 8:30ish am and so that was nice as well and it was a great setup to do homework or get things done. Plus the music was great. A little bit too loud to have a meeting there, but I am sure they would turn it down if there wasn't too many people there.
