I showed up around 10:45 and was told I could either wait 45 minutes or make an appointment online. I went online and made an appointment for 12:05. They required that I show up 15 minutes early for my appointment. I showed up at 11:52, and am still sitting 60 minutes later. Why did I make an appointment? Service seems professional and helpful, my only issue is with the wait. Addendum: I paid my balance in full the day of the appointment. About 3 weeks later I got a statement indicating an outstanding balance. I knew I paid, but like a reasonable person I had to call and check that there was not an error somewhere. I know it is a minor hassle, but I should not have to do that. SMIL uses sloppy or slow software for accounting and I have to call to verify because an outstanding account can have a negative effect on me. It is just annoying. The Customer service rep cleared up that I did not actually have a balance and was quite friendly, but I should not have needed to make the call in the first place. SMIL wasted another bit of my time by sheer laziness and it is really disappointing.
