Disappointed. Tried to reorder a cake from my dads and sisters combo last bday, he has since passed away, talked to Katy the baker and said it was a reorder from may 2016. I described it as choc everything, choc cake, choc frosting (unsure what kind) but most important was the thick layers of ganache through the cake. She said she would look it up and call back. No call. I called back and the woman who answered was aware of the previous call and said their filing system isn't very good and she couldn't look more than 6 months back. So she said it sounded like their standard choc cake so I assumed she was informed of my previous discussion about the all important thick layers of ganache. I ordered a small version of the cake (6" for $30) and when we cut into it those thick layers of ganache were MIA. I called back the next day asking for a redo and the woman who identified herself as the owner was incredibly rude and totally unwilling to redo the cake. Well, that's not true she said she would redo the cake for $30. She said I took the order and you got what you ordered. Clearly there is a real lack of communication and follow up with customers here which resulted in me getting a very very average choc cake. Even if there hadn't been a case of no communication between staff and this is what I wanted the cake was take it or leave it at best. BTW, the choc/choc cake at Walmart is much better and only $8 . Small business that offers an average product + bad customer service = equals yikes! Seriously, I'm not sure what her customer acquisition costs are (likely she doesn't know if she can't even file orders) but I do know to redo a stupid $30 cake would have cost her a whole lot less than the bad advertising from the reviews I'm leaving everywhere including facebook with 700+ local customers and friends.
