First Friday! I've been a resident of Las Vegas for over a year now and wasn't sure about attending this event. Until, --- I decided to go check-it-out for myself 9-7-2012.
I had a great time! I'm not going to write long paragraphs of all the cool Arts & Crafts I saw, the friendly Artists that were working their booths, and the great diversity of food, music stages, and people of all ages. Depending on the type of music that was playing, defined the type of crowd in that area. There were middle-age people, young adults, seniors, teens, kids, strollers, and dogs. Go check-it-out for yourself. I'm so glad and happy that there is a fun place for teens to attend and somewhere to take my young grandchildren when they come down to visit.
I got there early so parking was not a problem. I did a lot of walking at the event and nearby businesses. It was almost 11 PM when I started to leave the event, and I did not see anything that I hadn't seen before at other high attendance Las Vegas events. I did notice the janitorial crews, plenty of visual security and police, and lots of people that went out there to have a good time.
I'll be out there in October!
