I was born and raised in New Mexico and was thrilled to come across this restaurant w/"New Mexico"anything on the sign. Although this restraunt is not serving authentic New Mexican dishes, what they do serve is really good! I have never had a relleno w/meat in it as well as the usual cheese like they serve here. It was awesome! Like it said in a number of other reviews, it gets busy....but, it gets busy because it's good! If having to wait a little while deters you from trying this place then go somewhere without a wait and enjoy your not so great food ;) just saying...
Definitely try this place out. I am SO glad
to have come across it. I look forward to going again soon!
Portions are big enough that i took my leftovers home and it was a whole nother meal. I bought extra sopapilla (if you are a new Mexican be sure to tell the waitress you want the sopapilla w/no powdered sugar on them. Take home your left overs and make some stuffed sopapilla baby!,yum
They do charge for the soppapillas* but, New Mexicans gotta get those! :)
