As lover of all things food, Penn Mac has it going on. Their selection is incredible and the prices are fairly inexpensive. You must visit if for no other reason than the cheese counter. Carol has worked for Penn Mac for as long as I can remember. Ordering cheese while being addressed as "Dearheart" is an experience unto itself. If cheese is not your thing, check out the olive bar.
I always stop by to pick up spices, pasta and cheese when I'm in town. I grew up shopping at Penn Mac regularly so perhaps there's even a bit of nostalgia in it for me. Either way, the shop has lots to offer. Best of all, they have online ordering. When I get really homesick I can order some Isaly's chipped chopped ham and pierogies.
