My home warranty company called A Team as well, they came out the next day and determined it was a bad compressor. After a couple of days of not hearing from anyone, I called AHS, I was told the contractor (A Team) hadn't turned in the service order. After another few days, I called AHS again, I was told a part had been ordered. I waited another couple of days.... I called AHS and was told the part was still on order. I decided to call A Team to see what was going on, since no one was calling me to give me updates. I was told by Jose, that I wasn't his customer and he didn't need to call me.... (Awesome way to take ownership). Long story short.... After 3 WEEKS of no AC in AZ during July and numerous calls to AHS and A Team.... The part was ordered, then the part was the wrong one, then the part was "Cancelled".... I finally got a call from Jose saying the part was cancelled, but didn't know who cancelled the order, then I was told before we do any work, you'll need to pay $350 for the Freon, BUT could be as high as $600 if the part isn't a "retro fit". I understood when I signed my contract I would be required to pay for the Freon, but after sitting in a home for over 3 weeks, I didn't think it was right for me to pay for this lack of customer service from BOTH companies. Jose and I had a discussion on the phone and after I told him I would contact BBB, he decided to tell me, "I'm going to contact AHS, and refuse to work on your AC unit". Anyways, it was a blessing, since nothing was moving forward anyways. I contacted Moore Air AC and Heating and had a new AC unit put in the very next day.... Thought I would let everyone know my experience... Good luck to all!
