Their slogan says it all: "Coffee for the people'. Seriously. Here's how my day started. I went to the coffee shop ACROSS the street from this one and had potentially one of the WORST experiences I've ever had getting a java so I took my money back and came across the street to The Urban Bean. First of all, I was greeted with smiles. Second of all, they said I could use their Internet not only for free, but for as long as I wanted. And third of all, the EXACT SAME DRINK that I ordered across the street was cheaper here. The Urban Bean Coffee Company is a cute, friendly, HAPPY place to sip your java and get a break from your busy work day. They have DELICIOUS snacks, scrumptious sandwiches and super tasty beverages. What I love most is that the baristas are friendly, happy and helpful people. Plus the music rocks. Right now they're playing Young MC's classic 'Bust A Move'. You know what else I love about my new found favourite coffee joint? It's CLEAN. This is coming from your local germaphobe, so you can take me at my word. I recommend The Urban Bean to anyone who has had it with pretentious, snooty and unwelcoming coffee cafes. Come to The Urban Bean, enjoy a heart warming beverage and don't forget to swing by and say hi :)
