Best live music venue in the city, in my opinion. After suffering through years of combinations of bad bands, bad acoustics and crappy locations, I've finally found the winning combination and The Mod Club is it. From the Cold War Kids in 2007 through the Shout Out Louds last night, the Mod Club consistently delivers great indie bands and incredible acoustics all in the middle of Little Italy. Check out a live show on a whim and you'll be happy you did. My only beef, live shows start early and end early on Saturday nights, so pay attention to when the doors open, because the bands hit the stage on time.
