I bought their cake for a professional pastry chef and they were super impressed. I bit into the cake and then understood why. They are busy for ice cream but their real talent are their cakes. Specifically the birthday cake. Just unbelievable. Truly one of the best cakes I've ever had.
Why two stars? Because it's the worst service on the planet. I buy their large cakes for my chef friends and I went in to buy yet another large cake after working a 12 hour service and I had to wait in the long ice cream lineup to be served. I understand first come first serve but how about creating a system to help cash out larger orders that aren't as labour intensive as serving ice cream.
Properly staff your store and also help those to get a quick checkout.
Absolutely terrible experience for a big fan. Very disappointed as I've been raving about them, I've visited 2 out of their 4 locations and usually go out of my way to bring new friends and converts.
This is the 3rd time I've had bad service and something needs to be done about it. Unacceptable.
