Been wanting to try Haus Murphys for several years now and finally made it to downtown Glendale,sorry to say we felt what we ordered was quite underwhelming, I had the Big Smoky Beef Brat with fried potatoes,first off the kraut was absolutely bland, have tasted better out of a jar! and was served maybe three tbs barely enough to lay the sausage on,maybe a good thing,the fried potatoes were mostly burnt and hard,must have been in the cooker the better part of the day. Even the salad served before was kind of sad. Wife had the chicken with a cream sauce that I tried that was rather good though we expected a plump breast not one that looks as it had been through a ringer washer but maybe that's the way German chicken is served . the the potatoes again were burnt and hard.Will say service was excellent.if we go back and right now that's a big if' we'll definitely try other items on the menu staying away from the fried potatos.
All in all for the prices they charge we were quite disappointed.
