Pretty park with a nice lake and nice trail. There seems to be confusion on here about the swimming and the trail. The trail is called Indian Spring and it's a loop so it DOES NOT land you in the Stow area. It lands you right back where you started. It's about 2 miles long and you pass by a spring and a pond. The lake is open for swimming from Memorial Day through mid August and costs $4 per person. You can drive in and get to the trail without paying , because the area where you pay is walk-up. They stamp your hand if you want to leave and do the trail and then return to the beach. The beach is nice but I can swim in a bigger lake for free, so I don't know if I would frequent this place for swimming. I'm going to note to you also that the park staff seems a little... Rude. They seem like they are watching you like a hawk on the beach and one time, my husband and I walked (not drove) to the park entrance at sunset and 2 park rangers laughed at us for not knowing it was closed?? and acted like we were going to bring drugs to the park..they watched and laughed as we turned around to leave.
