If I could give a negative review I would. Their roadside assistance and customer service is horrible. I requested a flat bed tow to my dealership at 6:20pm. AAA's app indicated the request had been received and that a tow-truck would be here by 8:21pm. The night gates at the dealership are locked at 9pm.
At 8:30pm I called AAA and asked for an update on the time of pickup since we had passed the estimated time. After being on the phone for over 40 minutes with AAA First with a call agent and then with a supervisor the call was suddenly disconnected. I'm not used to being hung up on by a business. Hopefully our conversation was recorded so that AAA can improve their customer service!
The supervisor informed me that their dispatcher was trying to contact the dealership to ask what time they closed. To which I replayed 6pm with the gates locking at 9pm.
One of the options I was given was to call a towing service and pay out of pocket. I replied why would I do that if I have a AAA membership? No response!
I asked about scheduling a time in the AM that works with my schedule. I was told they aren't able to pre-arrange times for convenience. I then stated they are the service that's needing this not me.
My membership is up for renewal next month. Unless I receive an apology for their ineptness I'm going to be cancelling.
