When I was little, my best friend and I used to borrow money from the crosswalk lady to buy a Dilly bar at this Dairy Queen location. We'd always tell her we'd pay her back, but we never did.
Poor crosswalk lady.
Why she would actually give us the money, I'll never know, but she did help to instill in me a fondness for the Queen that just won't go away.
I know most DQ's are a little ghetto, but there's not much better than a mud pie blizzard and that's just the plain truth.
This location is tiny. And a little dirty looking. But it brings back old childhood memories. So whenever I'm near it, I stop by and get an ice cream, and I think you should too.
