Unfortunately this is another practice that runs like a business and just wants your co-pay and insurance billing codes. The biggest problem was the fact that a new patient appointment is really only for the Dr. to "get to know you" and "review your history" which I might tell you you'll have to pay an office visit co-payment for. So please let me pay you so you can "review my record" and "meet me" but you don't have to lay a hand on me to do any sort of an assessment. If you want an annual physical because your insurance requires it.... too bad you'll have to make a second appointment for that. Why??? Because that's their "policy" ... I'm a healthy 30 something not on any prescriptions but please.... bill my insurance and take my co-payment so you have the pleasure of meeting me and reading my medical history. Then sure go for it... make me schedule yet another appointment to take time out of work and my day so you can bill my insurance yet again for my annual physical. I should however say the doctor was very nice and very pleasant. I feel like the management team and office staff are doing a dis-service to these physicians. You should re-evaluate your "Policies" . And the office and waiting area looks like it's a free-clinic; very dark; very dingy.
