I was in town for about a week for various events, including a wedding and friends birthday. I was being budget conscious and was so happy with my experience at the Super 8. Room was a basic hotel room (no fancy upgrades) and served its purpose.
Things I liked:
-My room was on the ground floor but was still quiet.
-I was able to go on a swim at the pool without being bothered by creeps or drunk people. Only mid-westerners minding their own business.
-Free continental breakfast
-Free wifi.
- 7 Eleven next door
-Free airport shuttle (although hours are limited- call in advance)
-Short 15-20 minute walk to the strip or $8 cab ride
-friendly staff
- NO resort fees!
The only thing I wasnt crazy about was that the carpet was a little dirty. Its vegas and people are a hot mess inside and outside their rooms so I get it but some extra carpet shampooing wouldnt hurt. Other than that, I was completely happy with my stay and even happier to not be spending all my money on a hotel.
