I just bought a 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia TI Sport in Vulcano Black / Red interior, within the same hour I walked in, unprepared- I even filled up my trade in literally 15 minutes before arriving at the dealer, and I was on my way to the office. I just happened to miss my exit to BMW Chandler and backtracked- not being entirely familiar with Tempe I didn't realize there was an Alfa dealer there- so I popped in to look at a Giulia Quadrifolio since I've never seen one up close.
In my entire life, I have never, ever, ever had a car purchase actually go where I didn't HAVE to do back and forth and haggle the deal.
They made the proposal, it was so damn strong, I took it on the first try- and I have a finance background- I set the parameters and objectives to buy at- they beat ALL my objectives I usually aim for when negotiating prices. Every single objective (even interest rate) was beaten without negotiation. Even got a bumper to bumper 100K with zero deductible, cheap (underwritten by Chrysler) so at least I know it's handled if it turns out to be a problem car.
I literally had no reason to say 'no' and it was so refreshing- I didn't.
