Yuck! How do you mess up something as simple as fish and chips? I guess you use the cheapest ingredients possible. When I opened the newspaper wrapping at home, all I found was cornflakes (formerly batter, but not good batter), some small tasteless pieces of fish, and a bunch of tough fries with a weird oily aftertaste. I used to go here and I found it pretty good, but I guess it's under new ownership. It would be forgivable if it had cost five dollars or so, but at these prices the quality should be better. Next time I'll take the time to go to Kensington market.
