When you are craving tartar sauce, sweet tea and everything fried, try Capt. Steve's on Monroe Road. On my first visit, my husband and I had grilled tuna steak. It was plain, but fresh. We saw mounds of fried seafood coming out of the kitchen. Needless to say, we do not go there with eating healthy on our minds anymore. It is Deluxe Seafood Platter all the way!! They serve heaping portions of fried seafood, when it comes out of the kitchen it is consistently too hot to eat. Isn't that what counts whilst eating fried food? I think new owners took over, but the food was still the same on my last visit. Great place to take out of town guest for a local experience. I put my name in the fish bowl for a free lunch and they called me, I need to go this week!! I am going to rate it 4 corndogs.
