I decided to make an appointment with Marilo based on the rave reviews that she's had on Yelp - and I am so glad I did!
There was actually a scheduling snafu when I arrived. Another customer thought she had booked an appointment at the same time. Marilo handled the situation professionally, even offering the other customer a discount to reschedule for later in the week. And even though it really did seem that it was user error (I mean, I got my email and text confirming my appointment, but the other customer did not), Marilo was extremely gracious about it.
Marilo was able to listen to what I was looking for, but she also offered honest, helpful insight on what would work with my personal hair and texture. You can tell she has a great passion for making people beautiful, and that's exactly what you want from your hair stylist. I've paid as much (if not more) for haircuts at other salons, and while they weren't bad, Marilo really took the time to get my cut just right. I love that you can book your appointment online (just make sure you get that confirmation email, folks) - so convenient!
