Banu is not only the best Persian food in town, it is one of my all time favourite places to eat. I love their original decore, the mabiance but specially the food. The Kabob Torsh is amazing, Koobideh is one of the best I have ever had and the Chicken kababs are to die for. They have a great wine and cocktails selection. I also love the service. It's unpretentious but friendly. You walk in there and it's like you have walked into an extension of your home. I understand it might not be everyone's cup of tea, but for those of us who get the concept, it's a heaven sent.
