My golf skills are in no way impressive, but aren't at the point where you need to take cover. I decided that it's time to stop being the worst golfer in the group and start taking lessons. That's when I landed at Leatherman Golf.
I had only been to their driving range once before on the weekend, which is how I learned about it. They have quite a few slots at the driving range (real grass and turf), so you won't have to wait long to hit a bucket of balls. They also have two putting areas an a chipping area to practice your skills. I saw the mini-golf section, but didn't go over to play.
Their lessons are extremely reasonable. I found a group lesson on their website that was a Ladies Only group. Score! The lessons are taught by Linda, who is funny, instructive and engaging all at the same time. At around $150 for 4-90min group lessons, that's pretty good! I also looked at some of the private and semi-private lessons, and the prices are very reasonable.
On a personal note...LADIES, this is a GREAT place to meet GUYS!!! The guy-to-girl ratio is totally in your favor. Great place to meet a guy if you are tired of the bar scene and don't want your grandma to set you up with anyone else.
