Had a simple job: the repair of a sliding glass door latch/lock. Chose these guys because their address listed in Google was the closest to our house. Received a verbal estimate (sort of) ($130, but since it was such a small job, they'd "work with us"), they took the entire door lock latch mechanism piece, was told they'd get the new part, and would be in contact in a couple days to schedule the re-installation. More than two weeks go by, we hear nothing back, and so we call to check-in and leave a voicemail. I thought the door piece was gone forever after not hearing for another three days, prior to our second call being returned. Was told that the delay was because the store with the needed part had closed. Finally get the job scheduled a few days later. The new piece doesn't match the old one or the other fixtures on the door, we were charged the full $130, and didn't receive a receipt for any of it (was told they'd send it). A couple weeks go by, and we still had no receipt. Called again and requested the receipt, was again told they'd send it. Called and left two more voicemails in the weeks that followed, with no return calls, and we still don't have a receipt.
