Car... Drive! That's about all I know about cars, so I tend to hit up the chain places whenever I get sick of my car complaining about it's lack of fresh oil. There are always good coups on the Pep Boys website ($19 for oil change, filter & tire rotation), so they are my go-to car spot. I, like most humans, hate waiting, so I placed a reservation online. When I came in, they told me that the online system is shite and that I basically had to wait in line, a wait of 2+ hours. Luckily, the GM of the store was there and took care of things fast. (note: call and make an appt. Do not make an online appt). Sure, they tried to upsell me on an air filter and some fuel injector stuff, but I didn't get the "you need breaks" "you need your 75 mile maintenance for $2500" "you really should get new tires" BS. 45 min after walking in, I was out the door with no more complaints from my car about it's hunger for fresh oil. For under $20, that's a win. Side note: free wifi in the waiting room :)
