I hate leaving bad reviews so when I do it's because the company was really bad and when I say really bad I mean it!

In a nut shell. They lost my reservation and they had no rooms available Super Bowl weekend. Flew in from seattle and no hotel now.... Seriously?
I called to make a reservation about 2-3 weeks ago. Called around for rates since it was Super Bowl weekend. I called and spoke with a woman around 11pm. She made my appointment. I asked if she could email me a confirmation and she said she could not but her manager could if I call back.
At this point, I had her read me the address, phone, fax and price of room before and after tax. Basically she quoted 99 per night and I wrote down the confirmation number she gave me.
Called today to confirm room and they couldn't find it. The manager claims his staff are trained and that it was MY mistake and not his problem now.
Great, way to take accountability for his staff. Only book here if you have a back up an because these people will leave you high and dry!
Then he said if I wanted a room it was going to be 199 a night so double. His staff probably messed up and booked me wrong rate for Super Bowl weekend and what they .... just go cancel all those reservations to make more money off other people? Pretty unethical...
