I saw their ad and decided to this place. I have been to other med spas before but wanted to experience something new. I was lucky to meet both owners (a husband/wife team) because they had just opened recently and they were both there. The husband is a physician and the wife is a nurse. I questioned them on their training after hearing stories about people in the medical field taking a weekend class and then go out performing all sorts of procedures without having had enough experience and training. They told me about their training with the makers of products such as Botox and Juvederm and several others. It was extensive. They both went way beyond the minimum of classes in order to deliver these procedures. So after some very casual chat, I decided to go for it.
I had a small amount of Botox placed in my forehead area (I'm stingy) and it was fun because both the doctor and nurse worked together to give me the best bang for my buck. They are nice people and while they were very professional, they were fun to talk with. One thing I had never noticed before (being very fair skinned and blonde) was the fact that I had little hairs on my face. Yikes! She microplaned my entire face (no pain at all) and two days later when I was out to lunch, my sister said my skin looked really nice.
So there you have it. Professional, friendly and competitively priced. I'll go back.
Oh...while we were chatting, I learned that both are highly trained in the area of nutrition to combat disease like diabetes. She is also certified as a chef. So we talked about the benefits of a plant based diet. It was a really informational and an enjoyable experience.
